WHO WE ARE
What We Believe
We want to clearly communicate what we believe to our community and the world: the essential and clear doctrines of the Bible.
Our Mission, Values and Statement of Belief are listed below. We always welcome any additional questions you may have.
Mission
make disciples.
Our Values
Jesus called all His followers to become disciples who make disciples and that is exactly what we want to do as a church. We are committed to encouraging and equipping each other to move from initial repentance and faith in Christ, to engaging in the mission of multiplying faithful disciples of the Lord Jesus.
From this commitment, there are three core values that define the culture of our church and guide everything that we do. The following are the simple steps that are asked of every follower of Christ and guide everything that we do as a church.
1. Worship
Jesus said the greatest commandment is to “Love the Lord with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind” (Matt. 22:37). He was talking about a life of worship – the continuous outpouring of all that we are to God.
All that we do as a church is centred around passionate praise, personal prayer, devoted study, and joyful obedience.
2. Love
Jesus said the identifying mark of His followers would be their love for each other (John 13:35). We are committed to following the example of Jesus by loving one another faithfully, practically, and sacrificially.
We are convinced the best means for cultivating friendship and creating opportunities to love another well is through small groups. Thus small groups for all ages are our primary ministry focus outside of Sunday mornings.
3. Serve
We seek to follow the example of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:43-45). Our love for God and others is expressed in action and so we serve others, both inside and outside the church, with humility and compassion.
We seek to do this by embracing opportunities to serve our neighborhood as a church and caring for our own neighbours as well.
Statement of Belief
Our Statement of Belief is a declaration of the truths that unite us in ministry. The following is a summary of essential truths about God and His works.
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God; that the sixty-six books, as originally written, comprising the Old and New Testaments, were verbally inspired by the Spirit of God and were entirely free from error; that the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice, and the true basis of Christian union.

Ordinances
We believe that there are only two ordinances for the church, regularly observed in the New Testament, in the following order:
- Baptism, which is the immersion of the believer in water, whereby he obeys Christ’s command and sets forth his identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.
- The Lord’s Supper, which is the memorial wherein the believer partakes of the two elements, bread and wine, which symbolize the Lord’s body and shed blood, proclaiming His death until He comes.

Religious Liberty
We believe in religious liberty; that every man has the right to practice and propagate his beliefs.
