Pastors

Brandon Taylor, Senior Pastor

Brandon has a Master of Divinity from Michigan Theological Seminary and became the Senior Pastor at Riverside in 2015. As Senior Pastor, Brandon preaches the majority of Sunday mornings and oversees the church's discussion groups and gospel outreach ministries.

He is thankful for every opportunity to teach the Bible and preach the good news of Jesus Christ. He considers it a privilege to serve with his wife Emily among a church community marked by love and grace.

Nate McGuire, Associate Pastor

Nate joined our staff in 2018 after graduating from Heritage College and Seminary with a Bachelor of Theology. Nate directly oversees our worship and youth ministries and shares in the preaching responsibilities. In addition, Nate plays a vital role in our volunteer training, leadership development, and office administration.

He appreciates serving on the music team with his wife Brittany and is passionate about equipping and empowering disciples of Jesus for engaging in the work and mission of the church.

Deacons

Deon Jackson, Deacon

As part of his role on the Deacons Board, Deon oversees the upkeep and maintenance of our building and property. He is thankful for the many years he has spent here, and the way Riverside has remained unified through difficult seasons in years past.

Considering Riverside to be family in the truest sense, Deon and his wife Donna joyfully give their time and energy freely to serve their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Bill Duncan, Jr., Deacon

After growing up at Riverside, Bill Jr. is thankful to be able to serve the church as a deacon. Bill's role includes a specific focus on hospitality which is a ministry passion he shares with his wife Janelle.

He loves getting to know all his brothers and sisters in Christ and finds great joy in the fact that Riverside really does feel like a caring family.

Brian Conlon, Deacon

Brian's wife Teri-Lynn grew up as part of our church and now Brian also happily calls Riverside home. He appreciates the way our church members respect each other's differences and is thankful for the willingness of our seniors to share their wisdom and experience.

As part of his role Brian directs the church's fellowship events where he loves seeing people connect and watching church members become true friends.

Glenn Arthur, Deacon

Glenn has faithfully served as a deacon at Riverside for many years and currently leads our Sunday morning Welcome Team. He is thankful for the mutual love and support shared in this church and remembers fondly the care his own family received over the years.

Glenn continues to marvel at how the Lord brought together this body of believers and loves to help others discover and use their gifts.
