Satan will use people, chew up people, and then spit them out |

I read a news article about a large festival outside Bangkok Thailand for the devotees to Yan tattoos. (Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has a Yan tattoo.) Those who have them believe that super-human powers radiate from the designs. Some claim to have been protected from harm from their tattoo; others that certain ones bring money, success, strength, and special powers. The chanting of the Buddhist monks brings out the power as men rant, scream, and charge around as if possessed. One devotee said, “You can’t control it, sometimes it controls your whole body, but it is a good thing; it’s a good thing for the spirit to come to the body. It’s a blessing.” Sadly, how wrong this individual is. From the perspective of the Word of God these spirits are most certainly demonic in nature. And demonic spirits may give a person something but they also most certainly bring bondage, fear, and bitterness. Satan is only about making people feel good, if he can get mastery over them in the process. Satan will use people, chew up people, and then spit them out and leave when he’s done. You want to stay as far away as you possibly can from anything demonic in nature. Don’t believe everything people say or you read in the newspaper. Believe the Word of God.
