    The other day I was “humming” (something I have a habit of doing) and found myself humming “Amazing Grace.”  As I was pondering the song the words of the third or forth verse really struck me.  “Thru many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come; T’is grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.”  It is so true that it has been by God’s grace that we have made it through the journey thus far.  And that also tells us that the future will be successfully navigated by God’s grace also.  His grace will lead me next week, as it has this week, and next year, as it has this year.  God’s grace will never cease to flow, so I can cease to worry about what the future will bring.  Whatever crosses my path, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  These words of the Apostle Paul are just another way of saying the same thing.  Right until I get home to glory, God’s grace will lead me all the way.
